We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient education, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a vital role in the health of our community.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all local and national regulations.
• Implement patient safety initiatives and quality improvement measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
• Utilize pharmacy management software for record-keeping and inventory.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or relevant field
• Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy settings

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacology
• Pharmacy Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
