Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and surgical procedures. We are looking for someone who is very passionate about animal care and welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventive care and treatment for pets.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
  • Discuss pet care plans with clients and their families.
  • Oversee the administration of medications.
  • Coordinate with specialists for advanced treatments.
  • Implement infection control protocols in the clinic.
  • Supervise veterinary technicians and support staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Advanced certificate in surgery is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical environment
