Job Description

As a Tax Auditor, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial records and ensuring compliance with South African tax laws. You will engage directly with clients to provide valuable insights and recommendations to optimize their tax obligations.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify tax liabilities and recommend strategies to minimize them.
• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing audit findings.
• Provide technical support to clients concerning financial regulations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on tax issues.
• Collaborate with various teams to improve internal controls.
• Maintain detailed records of audits conducted.
• Assist in preparing for external audits as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Taxation is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of tax auditing experience with a sound understanding of financial regulations

• CIMA Certification
• Registered Tax Practitioner

• English: Fluent
