We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and technical discussions.
• Ensure all designs meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate design risks proactively.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Thermodynamics
• Vibration Analysis
• Manufacturing Processes

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Detail-Oriented

Certifications

• Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ISO Standards: Knowledge of ISO standards related to mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Renewable Energy Systems: Interest or experience in renewable energy applications in engineering.
