As a Furniture Crater, you will be responsible for securely packing and transporting furniture products to customer locations. This vital role includes ensuring quality standards and managing inventory effectively.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret client specifications to create custom packaging solutions.
Cut and prepare packing materials according to product specifications.
Ensure all products are packed in compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
Collaborate with the logistics team to manage delivery schedules.
Monitor stock levels of packing materials and report requirements.
Perform regular maintenance checks on packing equipment and tools.
Assist with inventory audits and manage product returns.
Provide feedback on packaging materials and methods to the management team.
Facilitate effective communication within the packing team.
Document daily packing operations for future reference.
Requirements
Education
Valid Driver's License
Experience
Experience with international shipping and customs regulations is advantageous.
