Job Description

The Edger Operator plays a crucial role in operating and maintaining the edger machine in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will ensure products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the edger machine for production runs.
• Perform necessary adjustments to ensure precise cuts.
• Complete regular inspections of machine performance.
• Document production output and any issues encountered.
• Train new operators on machine usage and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Assist in optimizing the workflow within the production area.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Training certification in edger machine operation is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating an edger machine or similar machinery.
