Accountant

Job Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong grasp of financial regulations and management practices. As an Accountant, you will prepare financial statements, manage tax returns, and support the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve accounting procedures and systems.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
• Maintain financial records and documentation accurately.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures for financial management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Honours or advanced degree is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role

Certifications

• SAICA or CIMA certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
