Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our Durban office. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems while collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept through fabrication.
• Coordinate design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify and mitigate risks in design processes and project timelines.
• Ensure design documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Support the quality assurance process by performing audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors during product development.
• Involve in training sessions to enhance team skills and capabilities.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in engineering technology.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
