Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our growing team in Durban. In this role, you will leverage data to drive business decisions, develop predictive models, and enhance data-driven strategies. Your strong analytical skills and experience with machine learning algorithms will be crucial in extracting insights from complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Create predictive models to enhance business outcomes.
• Analyze data from various sources and convert it to actionable insights.
• Work with IT teams to design database structures for data acquisition.
• Produce reports for executive management on key findings.
• Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to prepare for machine learning.
• Develop A/B testing protocols to assess data-driven decisions.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years in data analysis or data science roles
