Job Description

Looking for a proactive Tax Consultant to join our dedicated group in Pretoria. Your role will involve advising clients on tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with the South African Revenue Service, and providing support in tax audits. A strong understanding of corporate and personal taxation will be essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' financial situations to provide tailored tax solutions.
• Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation for client dealings.
• Educate clients about their tax obligations and rights.
• Identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders for effective tax planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certification in Taxation (e.g., CTA, ACCA) is highly desirable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax consultancy or accounting

Technical Skills

• Corporate tax compliance
• Financial analysis

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• SAP Certified Application Associate - Financials
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
