Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for project planning, adherence to engineering principles, and client communication to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the project lifecycle from concept through completion.
• Use technical software for project planning and design adjustments.
• Engage with clients to provide updates and resolve any issues.
• Assist in feasibility studies and site selection for proposed projects.
• Ensure that all aspects of projects align with environmental and sustainability guidelines.
• Coordinate with local authorities for necessary permits and approvals.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) designation is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering projects
