Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing drug information, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and be well-versed in pharmaceutical practices.

Responsibilities

• Dispense pharmaceuticals in a timely manner and counsel on proper medication use.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals.
• Collaborate with clinicians to assess patient medication therapies.
• Oversee pharmacy staff and contribute to team training.
• Conduct health screenings and patient consultations.
• Manage the pharmacy’s inventory and ensure it is stocked appropriately.
• Engage in community health initiatives and education.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role preferred
