Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physiotherapist. Your role will involve assessing patients' physical conditions and creating tailored treatment plans to promote recovery and mobility. You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team focused on rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and develop comprehensive physiotherapy treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques in therapeutic practice.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Track and assess patient progress towards recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to referring physicians regarding patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and case reviews.
• Support patients emotionally during their rehabilitation journey.
• Foster a positive, motivational environment for patient recovery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Specialization in Orthopedic Physiotherapy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in physiotherapy

Technical Skills

• Electrotherapy
• Kinesiology Taping

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Leadership

Certifications

• Sports Physiotherapy Certification
• Devoted Lifesaver Certification (DLC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Rehabilitation Equipment: Hands-on experience with various rehabilitation technologies and equipment.
• Familiarity with Sports Injuries: Understanding of common sports-related injuries and rehabilitation strategies.
