Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to manage clinical trials and research studies in Durban. Your responsibilities will span from planning to execution, including monitoring study progress and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will act as a liaison between study participants, healthcare professionals, and sponsors, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative research environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact between the research team, participants, and sponsors.
• Prepare for and attend audits and inspections of clinical trials.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and documentation.
• Review adverse event reporting and ensure necessary actions are taken.
• Ensure informed consent is obtained from all study participants.
• Conduct patient safety monitoring and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Sciences
• Advanced degrees will be advantageous

Experience

• 2-4 years of previous experience in clinical research or healthcare settings
