As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in managing the processing and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. In this position, you'll ensure compliance with safety protocols while maintaining a well-stocked inventory.

Responsibilities

• Receive and assess incoming medical supplies and equipment for quality.
• Ensure thorough sterilization of all instruments before use.
• Monitor and report on supply levels and reorder as necessary.
• Assist healthcare providers with the distribution of supplies.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices.
• Respond efficiently to urgent supply requests from staff.
• Work closely with the safety officer to uphold all safety regulations.
• Regularly review and update standard operating procedures.
• Maintain an inventory management system for tracking purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or qualification in medical technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector.
