Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our talented team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be involved in various civil engineering projects, utilizing their skills in design, analysis, and project management to deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil projects.
• Analyze and interpret engineering data to guide decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Optimize engineering processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting.
• Implement sustainable engineering practices in all projects.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

• Site Management
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Registered Engineer (REng)
• Construction Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Conversational

• Familiarity with local environmental regulations: Understanding of regulations affecting civil engineering projects in South Africa.
