We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our medical team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our diverse patient population. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions while providing guidance and support to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Interpret lab results and imaging studies.
• Manage patient referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Provide necessary follow-up care and maintain patient relationships.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle and preventive measures to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve overall patient care.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Additional certifications in General Practice is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in General Practice

• Emergency Care
• Chronic Disease Management

• Organizational Skills
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems: Experience with EHR systems for managing patient records.
• Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is desirable.
