Job Description

As an Architect in our Johannesburg team, you will lead the design of residential and commercial spaces. Your role will involve conceptualizing designs, preparing architectural plans, and engaging with clients throughout the design process to ensure that their requirements are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve submittals and shop drawings to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Coordinate with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing to achieve integrated designs.
• Research new materials and technologies to enhance design and construction processes.
• Participate in community engagement and public presentations related to new projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Architecture
• Professional architecture license preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Building Codes Knowledge

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Project Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
