Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role involves assessing client needs, developing care plans, and connecting clients with resources.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client needs and develop customized support strategies.
• Act as a liaison between clients and community resources.
• Conduct follow-ups to monitor client progress.
• Provide group workshops and community outreach.
• Document all client interactions and maintain case files.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals and other service providers.
• Advocate for social justice and community awareness.
• Support the implementation of agency policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community services

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
