Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs and develop tailored support strategies.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Link clients with essential services such as housing, financial aid, and mental health support.
  • Advocate for social change and support community initiatives.
  • Document interactions and maintain confidentiality in client records.
  • Work with schools, hospitals, and community organizations to coordinate care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes affecting social work practice.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Promote a culture of respect and dignity for all clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a community-oriented role
