Job Description

As a Supply Chain Coordinator based in Johannesburg, you will play a key role in managing the supply chain process, ensuring that products move smoothly from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and possess a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross-departmental communication to optimize the supply chain.
• Monitor and report on supply chain performance and KPIs.
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager in strategic planning.
• Maintain contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Provide training and support to junior team members.
• Manage freight costs and negotiate logistics contracts.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve supply chain operations.
• Draft and maintain Contracts with suppliers and service providers.
• Utilize ERP systems for effective inventory management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Administration

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Supplier Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
