Building Maintenance Repairer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Repairer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all structures are well-maintained and meet safety standards. This role requires hands-on work, including repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues.
• Carry out repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Handle emergency repairs quickly and effectively.
• Paint and repair walls, ceilings, and floors as required.
• Build and repair shelves, cabinets, and other fixtures.
• Maintain logs of work completed and materials used.

Requirements

Education

• Technical training in HVAC systems is preferred
• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a building maintenance role.
