Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response efforts during security events.
• Coordinate with external agencies on cybersecurity matters.
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Advise on security improvements and investment.
• Regularly report on security status to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and information security roles

Technical Skills

• AWS Security
• Security Compliance

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ISO 27001: Understanding of ISO 27001 standards and implementation.
• Experience with network forensics: Knowledge in analyzing network traffic for signs of malicious activity.
