Seeking a talented Cybersecurity Analyst to bolster our cybersecurity efforts in Johannesburg. In this dynamic position, you will be at the forefront of protecting our digital assets, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security protocols. You will also collaborate with various teams to raise cybersecurity awareness and response strategies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security environments for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents to determine root causes.
• Develop and implement threat detection and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT team to configure security tools and software.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
• Prepare reports for management on security incidents and compliance.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
