In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to assess risk and determine the terms and costs of insurance policies. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of underwriting and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze insurance applications for risk factors.
• Make decisions on policy issuance and renewal based on assessments.
• Coordinate with claims adjusters for potential risks identified.
• Provide expert advice to sales and marketing teams to develop competitive products.
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting underwriting.
• Engage in negotiations for unique underwriting situations.
• Support the claims team with relevant underwriting information.

Requirements

Education

• Quality assurance in underwriting

Experience

• Proven experience in insurance underwriting for at least 5 years

Languages

• English: Fluent
