Job Description

As an Actuarial Analyst in Bloemfontein, you will be responsible for analyzing data, conducting risk assessments, and developing financial models. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can translate complex data into actionable insights to enhance our existing insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to evaluate the performance of existing products.
• Support the development of new insurance products with comprehensive actuarial evaluations.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes relevant to pricing strategies.
• Work closely with finance and underwriting teams to ensure alignment on profitability goals.
• Develop tools for improving the accuracy of forecasts and risk assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
• Fellowship in an actuarial organization is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in actuarial work
