Job Description

As a Financial Planner at Financial Planning Experts, you will focus on developing comprehensive financial plans that address both short- and long-term goals for our clients. You will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments and creating detailed investment strategies to ensure financial success.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and prepare strategy proposals based on clients’ financial aspirations.
• Utilize financial planning software to create financial plans and forecasts.
• Support clients in achieving desired results through regular progress updates.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• Financial certifications such as CFP preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of financial advisory experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Retirement Planning
• Financial Modelling

Soft Skills

• Relationship Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
• Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) considered a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Client relationship management experience: Proven track record in maintaining key client relationships.
• Fluency in additional languages: Knowledge of Afrikaans or Zulu considered a plus.
