Job Description

We are on the lookout for a driven Project Manager to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing project life cycles to ensure successful delivery. This position requires a blend of leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
• Facilitate meetings with project teams and stakeholders to drive project updates.
• Assess project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that could impede project progress.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
• Master's degree in Project Management or Business is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in leading project management initiatives

Technical Skills

• MS Project
• Scrum

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Team Building

Certifications

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with remote team management: Ability to manage teams across different locations effectively.
• Certifications in risk management: Additional qualifications in risk management will be beneficial.
