Job Description

As a Veterinary Microbiologist, you will study microorganisms affecting animal health, identifying pathogens and developing diagnostic methods to enhance treatment protocols. Your work will directly contribute to the well-being of animals and the veterinary community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into microbial infections affecting animals.
  • Develop outreach programs to educate on zoonotic diseases.
  • Implement antimicrobial resistance surveillance programs.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on cross-disciplinary research projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or Microbiology
  • Masters or PhD in Microbiology or Veterinary Science is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a laboratory or clinical setting
