We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Medicine Practitioner to join our esteemed team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of animals, providing comprehensive care while ensuring a high standard of practice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of animal conditions.
• Administer medications and perform emergency procedures.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in accordance with safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with staff and pet owners regarding care plans.
• Manage chronic health conditions and follow up with clients.
• Work collaboratively with specialists when needed.
• Assist in the training of new veterinarians and support staff.
• Advocate for animal welfare in all practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a veterinary practice
