Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at Health & Wellness Centre in Stellenbosch, you will be instrumental in providing mental health support through evidence-based therapies. The ideal candidate will establish strong relationships with clients while working alongside a dedicated team of health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to understand client needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on client goals.
• Collaboratively engage families in the treatment process.
• Evaluate and refine treatment approaches based on client feedback.
• Contribute to the development of mental health resources.
• Engage in networking and partnerships with local organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• Registered with HPCSA as a Psychologist or Intern Psychologist

Experience

• Experience in group therapy settings is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Trauma Therapy

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• Afrikaans: Fluent
