Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory and quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to bring our innovative designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation phases of civil engineering projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones.
• Review and approve contractor submissions and bids.
• Conduct site evaluations to assess environmental impact.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications.
• Engage with local communities to address concerns regarding projects.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff in engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Postgraduate qualifications in Civil Engineering or related disciplines are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in the civil engineering field
