Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves developing strategies to protect our organization’s information systems from cyber threats. You will work with various teams to implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security information and event management (SIEM) data.
• Manage end-user access control and identity management.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence.
• Work closely with third-party vendors for security assessments.
• Report on security metrics and status to senior management.
• Coordinate with law enforcement on cybersecurity incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cyber threat analysis

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
