Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to elevate our design projects. In this role, you will work within a collaborative environment to create innovative designs that meet client needs while balancing functionality and aesthetics. Your ability to communicate designs effectively and work under pressure will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to design spaces that meet their functional and aesthetic needs.
• Generate innovative solutions that incorporate sustainability into design practices.
• Play a key role in the bid/proposal process for new projects.
• Mentor junior designers and assist in team development.
• Prepare project reports and documentation for final sign-offs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related discipline
• Additional certifications in sustainable design is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in the interior design field

• 3D Rendering Software
• Space Planning

• Negotiation
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with virtual reality tools: Ability to use VR technology for immersive design presentations.
