Router Engineer

Job Description

As a Router Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining network routers to ensure the stability and efficiency of our clients' network infrastructures. Your work will involve collaboration with other IT professionals, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring network security.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and security of the network.
• Monitor network traffic and investigate unauthorized access attempts.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on network hardware.
• Implement and manage network policies.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on network usage and security.
• Collaborate with external vendors for network solutions.
• Assist in project management related to network initiatives.
• Generate network performance metrics and analytics.
• Be an active participant in team meetings and strategy sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or similar discipline

Experience

• 3-5 years in IT with a focus on network engineering

Certifications
