Substitute Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a Substitute Teaching Assistant to support classroom teachers in their absence. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive learning environment and provide guidance to students, ensuring they understand lessons and complete assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Department in preparing lesson materials.
• Conduct classroom activities as directed by the teaching staff.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a respectful environment that supports all students.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by department heads.

Requirements

Education

• Teaching assistant or related qualification
• Further education in child development is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children in an educational setting.
