Job Description

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our company. This includes overseeing servers, networks, and ensuring that all systems run smoothly and efficiently. You should have a keen understanding of both software and hardware components, with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the network infrastructure is operating at optimal efficiency.
• Implement upgrades and install new hardware and software.
• Monitor and manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Respond and troubleshoot IT-related queries from staff.
• Conduct regular audits of systems and software.
• Create and maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on existing hardware and software.
• Collaborate with IT team members on complex projects and initiatives.
• Assist in training staff on new IT systems and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems management

Technical Skills

• Cloud Infrastructure Management
• Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Bash)

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
