Job Description

Pharmacy Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and enhance patient medication regimens, ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and a passion for patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drug interactions and contraindications for patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to pharmacy services.
• Support staff training on medication safety.
• Act as a resource for medication-related questions from the healthcare team.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with laws and regulations.
• Advise on formulary management and pharmacy operations.
• Participate in patient care rounds as needed.
• Contribute to patient safety reporting and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
