Job Description

We are seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and redesign production systems and workflows.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Develop and execute project plans for process innovations.
• Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and initiatives.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety protocols within manufacturing.
• Perform root cause analysis of production issues.
• Support sustainability initiatives through effective resource management.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to enhance product quality.
• Provide engineering support during product development phases.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new engineering methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role
