Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creative design and a deep understanding of fabric selection, garment construction, and current fashion trends. You will be responsible for designing innovative collections that cater to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Design unique, functional, and fashionable garments.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials.
• Ensure the quality of products meets brand standards.
• Create patterns and prototypes for new designs.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Provide input on marketing strategies and brand messaging.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote new collections.
• Mentor junior designers and interns.
• Conduct post-launch analyses to evaluate design performance.
• Engage with customers and gather feedback on designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or relevant discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years in a similar role

Languages
