We are looking for a dedicated Public Health Specialist to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in public health principles and have a passion for improving community health. You will be involved in assessing public health needs, developing programs, and ensuring effective implementation of public health strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment of public health needs and priorities.
• Design public health programs tailored to community needs.
• Monitor program progress and effectiveness.
• Engage with various stakeholders to promote health initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on health trends.
• Ensure compliance with public health regulations and standards.
• Provide expert consultation on public health issues.
• Facilitate community health workshops and training.
• Actively participate in public health research and grant applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Healthcare Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health project management

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)
