Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in East London. This role involves managing hardware and software systems, providing support to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and possess a strong technical background.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform system backups and recovery procedures.
  • Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Keep track of software licenses and subscriptions.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with IT industry trends.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and best practices.
  • Coordinate with the IT Manager on projects and tasks.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated user issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Additional certifications in IT security preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in IT support or help desk role
