Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our growing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans and cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Responsibilities

• Design test scenarios and develop test strategies.
• Run performance and stress tests on software applications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and results.
• Document test findings clearly to support decision-making.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of defects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance

Technical Skills

• SQL
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiar with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript: Ability to write scripts for automated testing purposes.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding of CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes.
