Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Burrer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and finishing metal products according to specifications, using both hand and power tools. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in metalworking, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Shape and polish metal products using various tools.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery.
• Keep workstations organized and free of hazards.
• Assist in other departments as required to meet production demands.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate best practices for safety and quality in metalworking.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Vocational training in metalworking or machining is highly advantageous.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in burring or metal finishing roles.

Technical Skills

• Experience with stainless steel and aluminium
• Knowledge of CNC machinery

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a production environment: Having experience in a manufacturing setup is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety standards: Understanding of workshop safety practices.
