General Accountant

Job Description

Join our financial team as a General Accountant. Here, you will manage the end-to-end accounting process, from bookkeeping to finalization of annual accounts. The successful applicant will also liaise with auditors and provide insight into financial data to enhance business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Identify financial discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Implement and maintain financial controls.
• Provide training to junior accounting staff.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditure.
• Conduct variance analysis for financial planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Relevant accounting certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
