We are looking for a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and optimization of chemical manufacturing processes aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all process changes.
• Evaluate and recommend equipment for chemical processing.
• Work closely with environmental teams to minimize waste.
• Integrate sustainable practices into chemical manufacturing processes.
• Provide engineering support during production scale-up.
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Monitor environmental impacts and suggest corrective measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar discipline
• Professional certifications in Chemical Engineering are an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of experience in the chemical industry
