Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong analytical skills to join our growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mechanical design and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be involved in various projects, from concept to execution, ensuring all designs meet specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Evaluate and improve existing mechanical systems and processes.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Work closely with suppliers and contractors to source materials.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Conduct testing and validation of prototypes and products.
  • Document engineering processes and maintain project files.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

  • AutoCAD

  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification
