Job Description

As a Thermal Cutting Machine Operator at our facility, you will be in charge of setting up, operating, and maintaining thermal cutting machines. Your main duty is to cut metals and materials to precise measurements and shapes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal cutting machines effectively to achieve high-quality outputs.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise cutting tasks.
• Follow all safety standards and protocols without fail.
• Conduct troubleshooting for machine issues during production runs.
• Carry out maintenance checks and assist with machine repairs.
• Ensure all materials are cut accurately to meet production demands.
• Uphold cleanliness in the workshop environment.
• Provide feedback to the engineering team for process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Certificate in Machine Operation or similar qualification

Experience

• Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is advantageous.
