Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team at Animal Care Clinic in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues. You will play a key role in client education and support, ensuring pets receive the best possible care. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animal illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform surgeries and medical procedures on pets and livestock.
  • Conduct health checks and provide preventative care.
  • Consult with pet owners regarding treatment options and animal care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior veterinary staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Postgraduate qualification in a specialisation area is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in veterinary care or animal emergency services
