Job Description

Seeking a driven Electrical Engineer to contribute to various electrical projects in Durban. This role requires technical expertise, as well as strong problem-solving skills to develop effective engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for various electrical installations.
  • Analyze project requirements and set technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with contractors and construction teams.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain quality control.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on electrical systems.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in engineering practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is an advantage
Experience
  • 5 years of experience working in the electrical engineering sector
